Make Your Wedding Place Cards Into Wedding Favors

Picture1.jpg Wedding planning really can be a lot of fun, but you should realize as well that it is a period of time that is packed with a lot of decision making. For example, place cards and wedding favors are one such decision that will need to be made. Lately, it seems that a lot of brides are taking these two items and combining them to create unique favors that incorporate the names of their guests.

It has been said that the most beautiful sound and sight to a person’s ears and eyes, is that of his or her own name. So you can see - this concept will provide your guest with a wedding favor that they will cherish. So let’s look at some ideas that you can use when combining the place card and the wedding favor into one.

Framing the place card into a sweet little "wallet size" frame can add an elegant look to your wedding tables. Imagine how nice it will be for the guest to see their name so nicely framed. The cookie favor has become extremely popular with modern brides. Often, the bride makes the cookies herself from an old family recipe, which adds a very sentimental touch. But even if you use a professional baker this idea can still work. Put the guest's names in icing on the cookies. This makes a cute place card and lets the guest know that cookie is just for them.

When the season is right there are a few great ideas you can go with, such as using fruit, which will do the trick. A beautiful pear with its stem can look so elegant on the tables at each place setting. Pears have a lovely shape and color. Just use the stem to tie a small piece of card stock or vellum with the name of the guest on the card. These are unique and cute ideas you can do to create favors that are also place cards, while putting a smile on the faces of your guests.
